About HCF
HCF stands for Highest Common Factor. It is the largest positive whole number that divides two or more numbers without leaving a remainder.
HCF(a, b) = the greatest number that divides both a and b exactly.
Example:

- Factors of 24: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24
- Factors of 36: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 36
- Common factors: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12
- HCF = 12
